My daughter is 18 years old and living at home. She works at at Grand Crowne and has came to me concerned with the ethicall buisness practice of Grand Crowne and its mangagment staff. She has recorded videos on her phone of co-workers smoking pot outside on the bench durning breaks and narcotic pills such as hydrocodine and others being distributed for money She has recorded guys sexually harassing female co-workers on the recorder on her phone and herself has been physically touched in places i can't mention by an african american manager there of which i wont mention for the sake of the fact she hasn't found another job. On top of this drinking goes on after hours both in the buisness and out side in the parking lot and management simply sends these young kids off in there cars. The real kicker is i have tried to contact Shelly and offer to present the eviedence and she wont return my calls. My fear is she is directly involved in such on ethical practices in which case the intergirty of the company should be brought into question by you the people who buy there products.

I am not a former employee, I was a guest there visiting, I have seen some staff getting high, i reported them and to my knowlage nothing has happened. seems like they warn them before hand on doing a drug test, well-come on people, theres stuff on the market you can drink and in one hour pass a drug test, it seems like it's much easier to keep the employee than to drug test them, surprize !!!! they dont want the bad name the drug users give the company, so in turn these companys will spend thousands of dollars to cover it up(hide their problem). I was there applying for a job and seen this stuff, even seen one staff member handing pills to someone else. come on c.j. whats up with this? wheres your security? hey-sounds like theres a position open for someone to do surprize drug tests.

Lance, I am hoping that you did not reveal to much information in your posting; matters such as these must be dealt with carefully. Working my way through college ( I am an objective, medical professional) I had interpersonal communication with one or more employees from a 'similar' company. On site was a meth dealer, and many substance abusers were on staff- sadly, one of my buddy's developed a cocaine abuse problem--- when I asked where he was getting these substances, he stated, " I can get it everyday right in the office-- everybody does it." Certainly everyone employed at this 'similar' company was not using drugs-- but with my own eyes and ears I found that the more successful employees ( success- defined only by the revenue they generated) -- the 7 to 10 I served, met, or tried to help worked in a culture that substance abuse ( and the signs of) was ignored. Your child should save the latest evaluation of his/her work performance- prior to making allegations... then follow the chain of command- and open door policy so the company can attempt to make such change that all employees will feel comfortable at work--- as with any business--- happy employees work better. If at any time you feel your child is at risk you should assist in leaving the position immediatly. I would not take for granted the evidence she has gatherd would be allowed in a courtroom---- as the other parties were not made aware of the recording.... so if you persue this avenue gain legal advice prior to sharing these recordings with others..... The last thing you would want is a huge attorney bill trying to defend your daughters actions. -------------If irritated by this posting please read the following:----------------- This comment posting does not reflect directly to any specific company or it's employees' --as that could be slander/liable--- so let me write again--- this is not specific to any one person or company.

Dear Concerned, I work for Grand Crowne sales center in Branson, MO. Now I can honestly say I have no idea what goes on in our telemarketing calling center in Springfield, MO as I work in Branson. But I can assure you, NOTHING like that goes on in our sales office. Now what goes on with individuals after hours off business property is personally none of my concern. And if people that work for the company have questionable values, I simply don't associate with them and your daughter has that same option, I'm sure. If you truly have some form of evidence that this behavior has occurred while at work on company property it should absolutely be reported to the human resources department for Grand Crowne. I can assure you, having worked for this company for 6 years now, that CJ Perme and his family, the owners of this company, in no way encourage, support, or frankly tolerate the alleged behaviors. As a matter of fact the employees at the sales center in Branson undergo an annual sexual harrassement seminar and I'm sure the rest of our departments do as well. My company strictly adheres to all state and federal regulations regarding marketing, sales, and company policies and procedures. If your true concerns are about your daughters personal behaviors with co workers than I think you should address that privately and not try to discredit and entire organizations and all the employees associated with that organization to help her. I am a law abiding professional, I am honest, trust worthy, liked by all I come accross and like nearly all I have the pleasure to meet. I am a devoted wife and loving and blessed mother of four beautiful children. I ABSOLUTELY do not do drugs and do not personally associate with those who do. So now you know that there are in fact good people working for Grand Crowne. Thank You. Sincerely, April In House Representative Grand Crowne Sales Ctr. Green Mtn Dr. Branson MO

Please contact the Springfield Police Department. These activities have been reported before. Also immediately take these video's to an attorney. Believe me they will take this law suit at no up front cost to you. It could be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars to your daughter. The average paid settlement to a victim of sexual harassment at work is over $100,000. This could pay for your daughters college, a house, a hell of a vacation. If she has video it is worth more than gold. Stop thinking that they are a legitimate business. Nearly all of their "managers" have criminal records for drugs. They are a scam company. Sue Sue Sue their butts off, report it to the police. But don't let your daughter be sodomized because she does not have another job.

Unfounded and malicious allegations of former employee or family member

I am General Counsel for Grand Crowne Resorts. It is imperative for any reader of these postings to understand one fundamental problem with this site: THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EDITORIAL CONTROL EXERCISED AND NO ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THE TRUTH. You will note that we have actually had two ex-employees post false accusations, then later admit that the allegations were false and ask the owners of this site to delete them, but the owners of this site refused, only allowing the posting of an additional comment retracting the original comment. We also have had travel club members ask for their posts to be removed, and this was refused as well. I assume this is because any exercise of editorial control could potentially subject the owners of the site to liability for false statements made by the people posting comments, therefore the TRUTH is whatever the person writing the posting alleges it to be. Our company investigates each complaint made. One of the primary problems is that this posting, like many others, is made by someone using a false name. This means that one person could post dozens of comments under different names, although I was glad to see that now this site is apparently requiring a registration to post comments. With respect to the allegations here, we have looked into this and we can find absolutely nothing validating these claims. We are a company with approximately one thousand employees with rules and reglations regarding reporting of inappropriate or illegal behavior, and absolutely none of the allegations contained here were ever reported. If anyone has any additional information, please contact our human resources department at [email protected]. On an even more serious note, the person who has used the name Lance appears to be using an alias as well as the anonymous person who posted a follow up comment and made an allegation regarding one of our employees, so we have no way of responding directly. Our company would not tolerate the activities described in these comments. BECAUSE OR INVESTIGTION SHOWS THESE ALLEGATIONS ARE FALSE AND OBVIOUSLY MALICIOUS WITH THE INTENT TO HARM OUR COMPANY AND SEVERAL MANAGERS PERSONALLY, IF WE LEARN THE IDENTITY OF THESE INDIVIDUALS, OUR COMPANY AND THE INDVIDUALS HE/SHE HAS SLANDERED WILL BE PURSUING A LAWSUIT FOR DAMAGES. Therefore, if anyone has information as to who this individual is, please contact us. Anyone posting a false report needs to understand that malicious allegations are taken very seriously by our company and we will pursue all available remedies. Respectfully, David S. Having knowledge of this manager you were referring to

The manager that you were referring to, if this is the same one which I am very confident it is, was fired once before from the same company for pulling a knife on another employee. Also he was fired from a another telemarketing company Valdoro for sexual harrassment. This person has a rap sheet a mile long. I also know someone that worked there and knows some names of females of age and underage he has had sexual contact with. I would talk to a lawyer and see what the lawyer suggests because it is grounds for a law suit. If this is the same African American then you would surely win. If they did any type of background on this person there would have been no way they would have put him a management position. If we are aloud to say the name, his name is Larry Shockley. If not then I am sure they will block his name off. But you would have a law suit.
