Grant My Offer.com This company offers help, but end up helping themselves to your checking account. Internet
I am a mother of three, and I needed help to apply for grants so that I could go back to school. I saw this website and It offered a CD for less than two dollars that promises to help you find free grants.
In less than a month, I had a draft on my checking account for $99. I called the bank and they gave me the phone number of the company. It was Grant my offer. They claimed that my trial period had expired and the charge was for the CD. I wanted a refund, but all they offered was 2 months free membership. The more I thought about it, the angrier I became. If I knew this, I would have never given out my checking account number because I can't afford $99 for a CD and a membership of $50 a month! I called back and after being on hold for almost 20 minutes, I cancelled everything. I asked for a confirmation of cancellation (for something I never signed up for) and all she gave me was a 3 digit representative number. So now I am out a hundred bucks and further in the hole than when I started. Thanks for all the free help Grant My Offer!
