Granton Marketing is now hiding behind the names Smart Circle, Innovage and others. I went into an Innovage office as people kept coming into my office looking for it and I wanted to know what they were. I went in and found out that these are the guys who carry around the knife sets, toys, etc. I told them about Granton Marketing and CV Marketing (under Christina Versosa) and they said they were NOT part of Granton. I also had some guys from Smart Circle come in try to sell me some Quizno's "merch". The guy had a "day of O" guy with him and as soon as I started asking questions he started getting nervous. I told him if he liked having to pay for his "retrains" salary in order to build his team. He went on to say he was getting overides from his team members but that he had only been in the business for 2 months. I told him I knew that wasn't true as he was just a team leader and not and owner. I asked him what his strokes were on the $24.00 cert and he said they get 30%. I asked him again what he made on each certificate and he said, quite nervously with his "day of O" listening intently that he got $13. I pointed out that he just told me he got 30% and that was only $8. He then tried to cover his mistake by saying he got overides. I laughed at him and told him to enter Granton Marketing in his search engine and read up about it. He said he was with Smart Circle which was a different company but mentioned all the usual suspects, Mike Teranoni, Paul Gudrieu (sp?) and all the others. I told him I knew it was the same company and told him exactly how they operate from the opportunity meetings and pep rallies to exactly what would happen at the end of the day. His "day of O" looked a bit irritated as he had obviously been told other things. As they left I heard him trying to make excuses for me knowing how they operate. I had a good laugh with my receptionist as I showed her this website.

Granton is trying to hide behind new names so I posted here to get them to show up in search engines.

I was just adding additional names to the long list of granton marketing, cv marketing, innovage, ds-max etc. The office here in NM has about 5 names they use as people come into my office all the time looking for them. They can't seem to give out their suite letter when people call them. They go by MCU marketing, innovage, smart circle, southwest racing group, southwest promotions, southwest racing and there are a couple of others they use as well. They have told people that they will be working for "Red Bull", will be working a warehouse job, will be inspecting safety/labor posters in businesses, and do imply that they are with the Department of Labor when asking to see if the correct posters are displayed to comply with DOL laws. (They almost got past my receptionist doing that. She now knows to call me and ask for ID when someone like that comes in.) They have told people that they will make $400/wk guaranteed, that they will be taking calls for donations for charities and numerous other things to get people hired and into the office. I can't count the number of people that have come to me looking for a job after interviewing with them. One guy came in and said that the team leader that took him out for his "2nd interview" left him stranded in Santa Fe which is 75 miles away. Another girl went out for her first day and declined to work there and was never paid for the training because she did not complete it. My service rep for my company went out for a "day of O" with them and was taken to a town 150 miles away without being told where they were going or what they would be doing. Her paid lunch was a burrito from a convenience store and a coke. She was worried about getting home safe and got back at 9:30 PM after being told she would have to find her own ride if she wasn't going to finish the day. Her husband couldn't leave his job to make the 2 hour drive 4 towns away. Yeah that team leader was really raking it in to buy a 7-11 burrito and a coke for his day of O and he demonstrated how much they care about people by hauling her way out there and not being willing to bring her back. Great company first impression isn't it. Shannon, what office were you in?

After a recent layoff I started searching for a new position. Being college educated and with a strong background I had hoped to lock down a new position quickly. I was using Monster and AJC jobs, to send in applications. First people to call me back were KSL Concepts, and then CV Marketing. Set up interviews with them on the same day. It was completely spooky, I had 2 interviews but they were almost the EXACT same. Almost as if they were reading from the same script. Both were the same type of scam. They brought you into an office with blaring music and gave you a 3 minute interview. The whole time I was in the interview at both places (at KSL it was Ken Lear, and at CV it was Christina Verzosa) they were having to silence their cellphones, as they kept ringing off the hook. They tried to seem busy and rush you through the interview and brush over any questions you might have. At both places I left with more questions than I had answers. They wanted me in both cases to come back in the very next day, and go for a ride along with one of their managers. I was told to wear walking shoes, as we would be doing door to door sales. Somehow they could judge if I would be a good manager, by doing door to door sales with one of their "team leaders". However I would be doing this ride along for no compensation, and when I asked what the salary benefit packages were for the position I would be hired for, she told me "all my questions would be answered on the ride along". The whole thing smelled of SCAM. When I got home, I jumped on google and found this listing, and there is a similar one for KSL concepts. This has got to stop. What is the use of monster, or any job board for that matter if the things that are posted on it are CRAP. We didn't go to college to waste our time. Be honest in your job board postings. You are not looking for managers, your looking for mindless drones to run up miles on their car, and waste their college education walking door to door. My advice, do this research before you go waste your time with bogus companies. I'm holding two business cards, so I'll post all of the info to make it easier for search engines to find. I just went in for an interview. This was the most unprofessional interview that I have ever witnessed. As I walk into the reception area and my first thought is that I am not able to think straight due to the fact that the receptionist is blasting "Party like a Rock Star" for everyone to hear. Also, due to recent events, the last image I would want my company to represent is Michael Vick, by plastering Vick posters in the office area. I was told to show up in business professional attire, yet others were dressed in shorts and a t-shirt. The interview lasted about three minutes. Fellow College Graduates, and others. I went through this interview so that you wont have to. This company posts many job openings on websites like Monster and Atlnata Job Zone. If people continue to take jobs like this one, then we will forever be wasting our time rooting through all of the trash interviews in order to find a good honest job. We went through college to show future employers our dedication and drive that can help makes us and them successful in the market place. I for one know that I did not go to college inorder to walk door to door selling coupons. Stand up and help make your degrees worth something. In closing, I will say that during my interview she fully disclosed the type of work that I would be doing.

ITS METRO - MSI NOW!!!! THEY CHANGE THE NAME TO KEEP GOING

#13Consumer Suggestion

Metro MSI: My ex-Fiance' became employed with Metro MSI one year ago. She was promised a managers postion within 6 months of hire date. After 6 months came and went and no manager postion. She was then promised a managers position within 8 months. 8 Months came and went and still no manager position became available. Now it is comming up to one year and my fiance' puts in well over 80 hrs a week and brings home barely $350 a week on an avarage. We have had many, many arguements over this job and it eventually was the demise of our relationship. So many hours invested, while her manager recognizing that my fiance' was making alot of money for them. Management set goals for each individual, (Goals consist of making a certain amount of cash sales per day). when in actuality, its not the employees goal, but rather the manager who sets the goals in order to make money for management, leaving the one who labors broke... It is a pyramid scam... You have to get a certain many employees to work under you for a certain period of time. This can also be seen in Amway type pyramid scams. It does not work because of the type of people the job attracts. Every now and then, Metro MSI gets a good person (like my ex-fiance') and this is how they make their money. Exploiting good intentions from good people in order to gain for themselves. After my fiance' was employed with Metro-MSI, she had to ride with a manager to go from business to business trying to sell cheap junk that most dollar stores will never carry. While doing door to door, the managers car was broken into and my fiance' had her purse stolen... Metro-MSI didn't feel obligated to pay for this. I had to argue and fight to get only 50% back. After approximately 8 months of being employed with Metro-MSI, my ex had to go with new applicants into the field to do sales. While she stopped to get gas, the two applicants went into her purse and stole all of her money, and the money that was collected from sales for the day. Metro-MSI made my ex, and I pay all of it back... Please, do not be sucked in to this company... You will not progress forward in life. You can make way more money working at Mc Donalds with the hours they enforce at Metro-MSI. Metro-MSI pays commission only, so remember this when you try to sell somebody a piece of junk. They actually put you through alot of fake "positve self improvement" crap that actually blinds the employee into thinking this company cares about the employee, when in actuality all they care about is their own pockets getting fatter and fatter. Ever seen requiem for a dream? Remember "JUICE BY SARA, JUICE BY SARA, GOOOOO SARA!!!!!" They actually say this and use "Juice" as some type of metaphore for positve affirmation... I think it is very cult like, and very scary that the woman I was with for 5 years was so easily manipulated into this crap.... Remember, if what they say is true, and thousands upon thousands of people who work for Metro-MSI are successful people, then don't you think everybody would be doing it? CRAZY
