Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I made the mistake of writing an email to lewisvillesingles.com. I didn't realize that it refers everyone who responds to this "great expectations" company. They very nicely have someone of the opposite sex contact you for an appointment. They take you through quite a maze of hallways and doors upon arrival. Then you talk to your "representative" (who'll you'll likely never see or talk to again afterwards). She puts you in a high pressure environment and prints off pictures of attractive young women (3 out of my first 5 weren't even available). They make it sound commonplace that these attractive women are out there and readily available if you'll just join the service.

I WAS TOLD THEY DO A FINANCIAL BACKGROUND CHECK of the women and a criminal background check of the men. Newly divorced that I was and finance handling by my ex wife being a major play in my divorce. I'm convinced this was a bold faced lie (the name of the person that told me that I would gladly divulge). Then after pressuring you to sign and making it look far better than it is, you sign.

After doing so, you're told about the $295.00 photography/video session that you'll be expected to do before you can use the membership. Then you have to come to the office unless you'll cough up even more money to view the GE profiles on line. My debit card was recently stolen. I've explained this to them twice. In four days, I've received 2 phone calls and an invoice through the mail. I have no way to pay them until I get my new account information (which is currently in the mail). Their finance company (universal finance) must know it's a shifty product at best, because they seem extremely concerned about getting paid. These people need to be stopped. One major reason is the vulnerability of a freshly divorced person, both emotionally, and financially (this is especially true if child support payments are taken into consideration).
