Jack D Ma at Green Base Recycling is the worst scammer I came across during +10 years in this business.
He is smart, doesn't leave any trace and does not answer the phone when you try to reach him and have him explain what went wrong.
This is what happened.
We prdered two containers of grade A, 98/2 LDPE film for shipment to Shanghai, China.
Jack arranged for CCIC inspection, but only one container got approved so we change the destination for the second container to Honk Kong.
We paid a deposit of USD $6,000 and the balance against loading pictures, weight tickets and copy of Bill of Lading. A usual payment terms in this business.
When the first container arrived to Shanghai, we had problem to get it released because the shipping company was not the same as the shipper on the CCIC report. That was later solved, but we got some fees for late pickup from the shipping line.
When the container was opened, the bales that should have contained all grade A LDPE, just had an other layer of that and inside every bale, there were some cheap, useless, plastic film of unknown grade.
The second container arrived a week later to HKG. The weight ticket from Green Base Recycling showed a weight of 19,860 lbs, but final BL weight stated only 14,860 lbs. A differrence of 5000 lbs.
I checked with the official weight station in Phoenix, and the wight ticket from Jack showed to be false. The offical weight station had not issued this one.
The material in the second container showed to be the same as in the first. Grade A, LDPE on the outside of the bales and inferrior material inside the bales.
Green base Recycling and Jack D. Ma scammed us out of +$22,000 and does not respond to emails or phone calls any more.
Jack D. Ma is the worst scammer in the recycling business, but we plan to go after him and the company with the AQSIQ registration for delivering inferrior material and for falsifying weight tickets, which is fraud.
