GreenLInk Funding Very deceptive with what you are signing up for Irvine, California
I worked with Jake at GreenLink, and I thought I was signing up for a debt consolidation loan, he said I didn't qualify for the loan, but they had a program for people with higher credit ratings that he maybe could get me into and the underwriter was a buddy of his and he could get me approval. Before I knew it my low interest loan had me signing up for a program where they wanted me to stop paying bills that I was current on, so they could settle my debt at 0% interest. Jake actually told me this would improve my credit! They told me creditors would start calling and I would be sent to collection agencies, but it was all normal and nothing to worry about. I terminated it right away. Don't fall into this trap!

The whole thing was a misunderstanding. I just wanted to add that Jake was clear and honest when I got into the paperwork what I was signing up for and didn't lie to me about what it was. It just happened so fast that it wasn't until later I realized what I was signing up for. The way the conversation was, I definitely started to get into something I didn't really want and it wasn't until later that I realized it (the talking about approval and his buddy the underwriter can get me approved was all true and felt like I was approved for something good and even though this program might be good for people it wasn't for me; not worth destroying my credit).
So when I say don't fall into this trap, I mean think about what you are signing up for before you do it. It's not that Jake tricked me and they gave me plenty of opportunities to stop, but it's that I didn't stop and think about what was going on until I had signed up.
I did terminate and I am sure this program works for some people, just not for me.
