WARNING: WATCH OUT FOR THE 5 STAR REVIEWS UNDER GOOGLE REVIEWS.  THEY ARE NOT TRUE TENANTS.  THEY ARE GREYSTAR MANAGEMENT TRYING TO INCREASE THEIR REVIEW RATINGS AND ONLINE PRESENCE TO KEEP THEIR CONTRACT(S) TO INCLUDE CHAMPIONS PARK APARTMENTS. BE VERY AWARE!  YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY STAYING HERE.

QUANTITY IS OF LESSER VALUE THAN SOMETHING OF HIGHER QUALITY WITH LESSER QUANTITY.  IN CONCLUSION, QUALITY AWAYS PREVAILS.

Myself and my husband chose this neighborhood because we were referred by a friend in which we later found out was trying to get $500 off his monthly rent and whom was also unhappy living in the community despite the online advertisement.  We found out the real reason after moving into the community that our dishonest friend was trying to get as many referrals to compensate for his last unhappy 4 months of staying in the community- right after the new apartment management took over.

You see, the Champions Park Community use to be managed by Archstone in which was later sold.  Archstone apartment management was like: Ritz Carlton quality management.  Well, now there is a newer but lesser attractive and caring management company in town called: Greystar.  As you read this review you will see the similarities and differences in the old management company (aka. Archstone) vs. new management: Greystar.

Archstone was the first management company on site of the Champions Park community.  Their elite management team held their their tenants and their employees of to the highest of standards from corporate down to the apartment community.  For example, tenants were held highly responsible for especially their animals and noise and were given 3 strikes upon eviction.

Their employees to include their maintenance had to true uniformity AND had to be on time upon committing to any service request.  Unfortunately, Greystar does not manage their employees at the corporate level, giving the community manager the utmost power to make the final decision on tenant complaints.  Greystar is the new apartment management community.

They pride themselves on their large accumulation of real-estate properly, but fail to realize the true quality practices of Archstone.  On their site, you will see their main attractions: the clubhouse and water fountain(s).  Today within our society, it is hard to see past sales tactics presented by apartment management companies.

Simply, they will do anything to keep their contract awarded by their true clients (aka. The owner (s) shareholders of the apartment community).  Therefore, “do not ever judge a book by its cover”.   It is a shame how Greystar segregates their future tenants by race and income status.  You may only know this if you visited the community and talked to the tenants one-on-one.  The noise level within the apartment units are non-enforceable.  Simply, the apartment manager: Skye Elkins - Community Manager is the last line of defense and does not care about tenants only their community owner (aka. client).  She has as much customer service as a 3 year old and is very unprofessional to a majority of current tenants who have complaints.  How did she get into that position?  It makes me nauseated just to think about it but she is most definately overpaid.

Nevertheless, they have no true way of enforcing dog droppings in the community and poorly placement of doggy Poo removal apparatuses.  Everyone in Colorado knows how bad Greely smells in Thornton when it rains.  Imagine smelling that same terrible smell on a daily basis due to rotten dog Poo left on the grass by other tenants at months at a time until IT either gets washed away by rain or melted snow.

Furthermore, Greystar does not care how their maintenance team dresses.  One day, my husband was working and I decided to stay home with the kids to allow Greystar maintenance service my apartment to find out the guy was dressed inappropriate and unprofessional.  He arrived with his pants not fully buckled leaving his butt crack exposed in my kitchen while servicing our kitchen.  Unfortunately, my child was the first to pointed it out.  I was shocked!

When I told him about it, he rolled his eyes, handed me the service requests after finishing and said, “Is there anything else I can help you will Ma’am?”.  I personally visited management and she seemed to not even care.  Immediately, I knew it was time to leave after the lease expired.

Later, my husband arrived at home and noticed that maintains did not properly fix the issue.   It is true what the 2nd reviewer (aka. Screen name: Google User) has quoted about the,  “ incompetent management team who would rather take money from you then sort out the issue and better your living situation. Don't be fooled by the pictures above, “ Championspark’s community's quality truly suffers due to Greystar’s poor quality of management, service and support.

Greystar has truly presented themselves in a negative way from their front desk management to their incompetent maintenance crew whom make false promises ranging from investigating noise issues, to not showing up at the time promised to service our apartment.  Simply, they run the Champions Park community like: SLUMLORDS.  Don’t just take my word for it, look around online and make inquiries within the community before signing  anything.

Word of advice: if you decide to look for an apartment with a good community and good quality tenants, and enforceable: zero noise tolerance, look elsewhere besides Greystar.  The first question you should ask yourself upon approaching an apartment, office associate or management  is: “Who manages this apartment community?”

IF the answer is Greystar then you should get up and leave right away without  answering any “why” inquiries from their management.  They will take your security deposit, administrative fee, and monthly rent and not care afterwards about any of your complaints to include noise or poorly serviced issues.  Do the leg work by going onto the property before talking with the management and talk with at least 15 current residents of the apartment community from different areas of the community.

Again: be aware of Champions Park- 5 star reviews on Google.  They are not true tenants.  They are Greystar management trying to increase their review ratings and online presence to keep their contract(s) to include Champions Park Apartments. BE VERY AWARE!  YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY STAYING HERE AFTER A COUPLE OF MONTHS.

JUST REMEMBER: QUANTITY IS OF LESSER VALUE THAN SOMETHING OF HIGHER QUALITY WITH LESSER QUANTITY.  IN CONCLUSION, QUALITY ALWAYS PREVAILS. Check out this link Click here to see the reviews about Greystar at Champions Park or just google: Champions Park Apartments in Thornton, CO
