Greystone masonary Stamped concrete breaking up in chunks! Stafford, Virginia
Had Greystone Masonary install stamped concrete under deck and created patio with steps. Two separate pours done on same hot rainy day. Looked good at first, then began to crumble and steps actually have chunks that reveal nothing under it. After many phone calls and pleaes to come out some areas were fixed at "cost" to me. Other areas began to do same thing, this time my husband visited Mr. Dittman and was told he would come and look at it. Surprisingly he did,but never returned to fix as promised.
It has been several years and it continues to just get worse. I am not talking usual cracks, you can't walk on it without it crunching under your feet with parts of stamping getting on shoes. From my experience after your job is done, Greystone moves on and doesn't care or stand by their work. I was told I had to put some solvent on it to make it crumble. I have a pool and do not use the patio or yard in Winter. This was a big expense and I never thought I would have to redo it or tear it out! Beware.
