Grip arrived it was clearly not as listed. Horrible quality, fit & finish were completely unacceptable, easily apparent right when I opened the package. I immediately contacted Scott and simply requested to return the grip for a refund.  It was too easy. Or, so one would think....

Mr Smith then set about a series of outright lies, disinformation, blasting emails 3 pages long and otherwise rude, unprofessional, childish behavior all in an attempt to not take the piece of junk, that he sent me, back.

I offered to pay return shipping but inisisted that I was not accepting this hand made, kitchen table top - item, passed off as "quality" from him. Scott refused to cooperate at every turn, forcing me to file with paypal, whom he then outright lied to as well. he denies being associated in anyway with Grips4U, yet Biz name, email, address, phone, paypal & ebay accounts (& listings) all match...to the letter!

All of this prompted me to search into Scott Smiths business further and what I found was pretty much exactly the same behavior he has thus far demonstrated to me. Multiple gun forms, review sites,  even his biz BBB file is loaded with similar incidents regarding his bad product, bad customer service, ticked off buyers he has screwed over and many are generally demonstrsative of his deplorable behavior towards his once paying customers.

Be forewarned, this man is dishonest, childish and produces grips that no one would ever want on their firearm!

THIS GUY BOUGHT NOTHING FROM OUR COMPANY - WHY IS HE ABLE TO SMEAR US THIS WAY?

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

This person bought nothing from Grips4u.net at all; he purchased a synthetic pearl grip set via eBay and despite the cautionary note wrapped around the grips informing the installer to avoid overtightening the grip screws, he did exactly that.  The same note wrapped around the grips is sent via eBay Messaging in the shipping notice with the tracking info, so the buyer can easily refer to the installation note at any time.

After he broke the grips and admitted doing so in an eBay Messaging text, he refused to acknowledge his own actions!  He has been harassing us ever since then, via eBay Messaging, refusing to accept the fact that HE broke the grips and broke them EXACTLY AT THE SCREW HOLE AS EXPLAINED WOULD OCCUR WHEN THE SCREW(S) WERE OVERTIGHTENED.

There are real issues with a person like that, who clearly indicates they're unable to be responsible for their own actions, while owning and using a firearm.  While we are strong Second Amendment advocates, the question arises about those who cannot follow simple instructions nor accept responsibility for their own actions.  Having sold thousands of these grips and despite all warnings provided, he chose to "do it his own way" with the results he was warned about.

Since he destroyed the grips, he's resorted to cyberharassment of us; he initially demanded another set for free, and when we told him we'd give a discount on a replacement set he didn't bother to ask to price, but immediately refused it.  Yet he stated in his eBay message that he and his wife had been shooting the gun.

He sent a photo of the grips as we requested, and sure enough, the photo clearly showed the screw hole area broken - exactly as he'd been warned in writing and in the shipping notice sent to him through eBay Messaging.

And even now he sends a photo of  a mailing label FROM NEARLY A YEAR AGO, for something completely different!  He made a purchase in 2018, but nothing at all in March of 2020, leading us to wonder why he's used so many eBay accounts, until we realize he's done this extortion to a number of sellers and continues to switch accounts.  It appears that he is entirely unable to keep his multiple accounts straight after extorting eBay sellers each time.   And the label he's showing was clearly Photoshopped, as it is not from anything he purchased.

An interesting side note is that he's set up multiple eBay accounts to further his efforts to defraud sellers.  We've now taken the time to track down several of his accounts as well.

It seems that contrary to eBay's rules, he's opened up several accounts using DIFFERENT NAMES OR ALIASES, which eBay states is prohibited.  His claims of multiple purchases weren't truthful at all.

With a poor decision to ignore the multiple instructions provided, it should not be surprising that this person, whose behavior since then has bordered on indications of psychological problems, feels the need to harass people.  We can only hope he recieves the help he needs in the future, before he becomes even more dangerous.
