A Euro Elite Motor Scooter was ordered on 9/19/2005 over the internet from GS Motorworks gsmotorworks.com

When the scooter arrived and was unpacked, it was found to have NO IGNITION KEYS AND the battery had been packaged upside down and the acid had leaked all over. After repeated calls to GS Motorworks, they finally sent out a new lockset on 10/3/05.

My son took the scooter to a motorcycle dealer to have the new lockset put on & set up the scooter. The dealer set up the scooter & it started, but the scooter has no power (goes as fast as a riding lawn mower in 1st gear). The mechanic was unable to ascertain the cause of the problem. I contacted GS Motorworks several times to have one of their technicians contact our motorcycle mechanic to help him find the root of the problem. After GS Motorworks promised several times that they would in fact contact our motorcycle mechanic, they did not, even though they stated to me that they had.

They simply shipped a bunch of "nuts and bolts" via UPS to remedy the problem. GST is sticking to their warranty which states "no refunds or exchanges" My argument is that a warranty implies a product is to be delivered as advertised. What my son received was a totally defective piece of merchandise that I feel constitutes fraud. GS Motorworks simply took his $800, sent him a product that doesn't work, and is saying it's our problem. I even stated that I would return the scooter and pay for the transportation if they would ship me a replacement scooter. Do yourself a favor ...... don't buy from this company.
