I won an rifle auction on Gunbroker.com and can prove that I fully complied with the seller's terms to receive the weapon. The seller busted the deal and stole my postal money order purchase payment and falsely claimed that he refunded me with a check.

I sought assistance from the Gunbroker.com Help Center, and found them to be in collusion with the seller and of no help in recovering my money or my feedback reputation as a new registered user on Gunbroker.com. After two months the Help Center requested that I file a fraud report and seek the partial restitution available to me through their Buyer Protection program, which I did. Gunbroker.com never penalized the seller who stole my money in any way, never paid off under their Buyer Protection plan, and never supplied the affidavit form supposedly necessary to qualify for this payment.

I found the Gunbroker.com Help Center to be very biased and deliberately unhelpful. They have the right to remove transaction feedback at anytime for any reason and I believe they do this to favor sellers who are morally disabled but profitable to their business.

Therefore Gunbroker.com is not the passive conduit between buyer and seller that it claims to be, it is biased, and it is not possible for buyers to beware when the market information in feedback is manipulated against them by Gunbroker.com. I believe their Buyer Protection plan is an illegal form of fraud insurance which, if it pays off at all, is a scam to provide fraud victims less than they are owed.
