We purchased a new Nissan Quest 2002 . Had the car 4 days brought it back to dealer because the paint was cracking the gas gauge was stuck on 3/4 and the front end would vibrate between 50 and 65 milesan hour.

To make a long story short the car has had new springs, new gas gauge, wire harness that burned up, 3 air bags replaced and currenty the air bag light is on, paint is cracking and chipping off the car, you can see body fill and paint over spray all over the car, there is a vibration in front end since we owned the car,

tires balanced 5 times, tires rotated 4 times, aligment 2 times car has 14000 miles still a vibration, ac fixed 2 time last time was told there was debre in ac lines, passenger door squeaks because fender is pushed into door, and every 4 to 5 weeks you have to refill the anti freeze because it gets low.

We were told by Nissan of American all the problems we have are normal.

And in july 28 2003 my wife brought car back to dealer beacuse of ac in front of my 11 year old daughter oneof Habberstad employee called my wife a ( Fu**ing Bit** ) because she complained that the car has been it 14 times for repairs.

And the best they can do for us is trade it in, which they will only give us 14900.00 ,when we paid 23500 and at that time the car had 7200 miles.

I Had a Bad Experience at This Same Dealership

Luckily I didn't buy a car from them, but I had a similar problem with this same dealership. A few months ago I was in the market for a used car, and I went to Habberstad Nissan after seeing an ad for a Toyota Camry with only 17,000 (boldly printed, mind you) on it. When I arrived at the dealership to see the car, I was warmly greeted, and the salesman took me to look at the car, and I was shocked to find that it actually had 72,000 miles on it. When I told him that the ad stated 17,000, he looked at me like I was crazy, and told me it was a mis-print. So, I then looked around the lot for other cars and saw a nice 2001 Nissan Maxima with about 42,000 miles on it. I asked him the price, and he asked me to come inside and he would find out. He took my information, and was able to quote me a "monthly payment" in no time, but he did not give me the price. After literally trying to drag it out of him, he said "Why are you worried about the price, you should be concerned with the payment" So I said, "The payment is based on a selling price, so I need to know what the selling price is." To make a long story short, we kept negotiating on the price, and he told me he would come down, but only if I took the car home THAT NIGHT. And mind you it was around 9pm by this time. So I asked him how I could take it home tonight and he told me not to worry about it. But I told him I had to think about it, and left a thousand dollar deposit on my credit card. I then called him the next day to tell him I wasn't interested, and he gave me an attitude, and told me I'd have to come in to get the deposit back, even though it was only a matter of putting it back onto my credit card which takes about twenty seconds. So when I went in, he started trying to negotiate again, and kept me there until I had to practically start yelling that I was no longer interested and wanted my deposit back. So I finally got it, walked out, and I've vowed never to go back there again. The point of my story is that from the start they were deceiving with the ad stating "only 17,000 miles" on this particular car, and when I found that out I should've walked out, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and looked at other cars. But this salesman was really trying to muscle me into a deal, even when I made it perfectly clear that I was no longer interested, he gave me a REALLY HARD TIME in giving me my deposit back. So if anyone thinks of going to this dealership, be careful.
