After seeing an ad on Craigslist for this guy (who works out of a run-down house in a bad neighborhood), my son took his iphone in for a screen replacement. The new screen lasted ONLY 3 HOURS before cracking outward from the speaker hole. He refused to take care of it, only saying "wow" when he saw the pic of the defective screen. We took it to the Apple store and they indicated it was an IMPROPER INSTALLATION of a non-Apple replacement screen. If you want a replacement screen that lasts more than 3 hours on your phone, AVOID THIS GUY. This is likely he wants CASH ONLY for his work.

I have been doing buisness with this gentleman for approx 10 years, very well trained in electronics repair and the parts and products he uses are OEM and aftermarket standard. First of all why are you looking on Craigslist for quality repairs for your iPhone which you have already smashed ? I am a technician by trade , met Jose and associates from a referal out of another shop which highly recommend for water repair, after meeting and seeing the very high end, micro soldering, infrared, and ultrasonic cleaners and supplies especially the microscopic equipment and licensing for the micro schematics.
I knew this guy was serious regardless of what this prejudice and arrognat consumer reports, Jose always gives you the options original OEM screen costs more or the option to use aftermarket less quality much cheaper price ! Also he even gives you a free screen protector at no extra charge. I have brought back dozens of phones that were repaired that failed and he always warrants the phone as long as it is not user error, why not show the entire condition of the phone , how many times have you smashed the screen , and most folks are not honest to admit they dropped it or cracked it again.
The profit margin is small for Jose with screens, small fees for profits and 100% be focused on quality of repair he also has a unique focus on quantity of repairs for an affordable price, a huge percentage of other higher end shops , will bring and continue to bring phones for repair that otherwise those shops cannot fix over to Jose from all over Phoenix, Tucson and surrounding areas. I call BS on this obviously misleading rip off report.
