Hall Mitsubishi Ripoff DESTROYS VEHICLES Virginia Beach Virginia
In May of 2006 I had my vehicle a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder taken to Hall Mitsubishi to have the head gasket replaced.I also asked that they replace my convertible top since it was starting age. I provided the replacement top ordered from another dealer. The dealership called me and told me this was the ONLY problem and that they had to order the part, which would take 7 days. I waited... they then called me about a week and a half later to say that it would be better to replace the engine completely. Little did they know I had another dealership look at it and told me that the head gasket was the only problem, but since Hall was closer I had it taken to them. ( I made sure to get several opinions and prices to repair) When I told them I did not want the new engine they suggested, they told me to come get the vehicle. When I arrived the bill was outrageous and they couldnt find my vehicle. The service departments manger told me I didnt have to pay for the towing and fees associated, I had it in writing yet they didnt honor it. When they finally located my car, the back window was smashed out and the car was flooded. They hadnt replaced the top either. When I tried to start the vehicle it would not start. I got in and the interior was destroyed, oil all over everything the entire interior was ripped and destroyed adn would need replacement. I had to have it towed off the lot since the workers locked up and avoided me. When I arrived home I took a closer look and photographed everything. There were engine parts in the glove compartment, oily parts on my seats and the engine was dis assembled and all the parts were not there. When I calle dthe dealreship they refused to talk to me, when someone finally did, they said that I should have bought the engine and hung up. Now they won't even discuss this with me. I was not asking for much, I just wanted the rpairs I paid for and for them to make right what they destroyed! I filed with the BBB a complaint but the company sucked up and even though I had all the dicumentation to prove what they did and DIDNT do, the BBB dropped the case and said it was closed. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP FOR ANYTHING!!!!!
