I had the same problems with these so called tires from Hangzhou Zhongce Rubber Co. Yes these tires can be dangerous but they are cheap on the price. Tires today are so pricey, I was only looking for a good tire deal. When I found the news these tires I bought were bad news, I find some used tires and replaced them. It is very important to review the yearly tire recall review and tire stores are not always updated on these things as you would think. Check each year but also theie are other drivers who maybe driving with these tires now which can still create accidents on the road. There is a recall but how can you switch if tires are so pricey now days.

Purchases a pair of Chinese tires from Hangzhou Zhongce Rubber Co for cheap but later found the tires were also on a recall. I ordered the tires from a dealer but I misplaced the receipt and I couldn't get a refund or a replacement. I had to replace the tires because I didn't have a receipt and the recall said there was a blowout warning on the tires. I had tires put on and noticed nothing about it until I had a flat tire and someone told me about these chinese tires. I was shocked that the tires I had were on the recall list. I tired calling Hangzhou Zhongce Rubber Co but they only said to go back to the dealer for a return but the dealer wanted a receipt when i paid cash for the tires. Because the tires were not too much, I took a loss on the tires. It is a good idea to know the tires you buy to research the tires, I don't recommend tires from Hangzhou Zhongce Rubber Co.

I found these update here to read on these tires. http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1G1-166180625.html The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has ordered a recall of an estimated 450,000 Chinese-made light truck tires that allegedly have been implicated in at least two road accidents in the past year. The tires were all manufactured by Hangzhou Zhongce Rubber Co. Ltd. in Hangzhou, China. Foreign Tire Sales Inc., the Union, N.J.-based importer of at least some of the tires, notified NHTSA that the tires were made without gum strips or with insufficient gum strips between the belts to prevent belt separation.
