This company is more hurtful to our environment than plastic diapers. I signed up for this service expecting "cloth diapers" and got delivered red and yellow polyester. Sure many probably think they are cute, but do you really know what's in them?
I wanted to use cloth to do something better for my baby and I'm sure most parents that choose cloth feel the same. I didn't want to wrap toxic plastic and chemicals around my baby. But, research the amount of oil used to make poly fleece! Polyester is oil, plastic is oil. They may even claim they use recycled plastic to make it - but it's still plastic! These things don't biodegrade any better than a disposable diaper! They may be getting rid of the feces better, but by the time the amount of waste created making polyester fabric factors in - there is no point! This wicking micro fleece they claim is so great, doesn't allow your baby's skin to breath, it just heats it up! If you are going to promote a cloth diaper service, to help our environment and our babies, use fabric that like cotton, bamboo, hemp, or anything remotely natural.
Everyone must stand up against this company, as they try to convince us they are environmentally friendly! If there is another diaper service in your area that uses cotton - use them!! Don't believe their claims or that you are doing right for you baby, because you aren't throwing out so much garbage. There are so many good services out there that believe in offer fitted cloth diapers that are make of natural cloth fabrics! Or buy your own, it's better than using these diapers.

Basically the only thing close to being accurate is that Polyester Fleece uses Oil. All of the information that is about our diapers and what they are made of is clearly on the web site. www.happynappy.ca. There is no point in arguing with someone that has clearly not done any reading or research. Even the colour of our diaper is not correct. It should also be noted that from the date of this statement our diaper has changed as well as our laundry process. We are now the most "green" washing process in the industry in North America. Our diapers simply absorb more and last longer than any other diaper on the market today. We also have fabric technology that actually decreases the temp of the skin covered by the diaper by up to 5 degrees compared to a "cotton diaper".
