Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
So when i got engaged I went downtown to the mart to look for a wedding ring for my husband. I was chatting with this very pretty young blonde and she was trying to help me find something. when I didnt see anything and was about to walk away, she escorted me down the street to a high rise where the owner was, with all of the loose stones and inventory. She left me in his hands. His name is Michael and he was the owner. I told him that I saw a ring downstairs on the way over and I wanted one MADE like that. I picked out the loose stones and the setting, paid and was on my way.

SO, a few weeks go by and i call him to find out if its ready, since I had not heard form him in the 2 weeks time frame he had promised. He said it was ready. I went to pick it up and noticed that all the diamonds were tapered. ( Tapered means the rectangle shaped diamonds went into a point at the end and they set them in a way where they appear to be squared off and straight ).

Anyhow, these were not the diamonds I had purchased! I had purchased baguettes, ( rectangle cut ) Michael had switched the diamonds on me. This is considered the most un ethical and dishonest thing one can do in the jewelry business. SO, I called him on it and we got into an argument. First he tried to bull-s*&^ me and tell me the diamonds came from the same lot as the ones I purchased, then.... he finally admit that he went downstairs and simply purchased the ring I had modeled MY ring after from another vendor! ( which was about 1200 bucks ) keeping the several thousand dollars I had given him for the other loose diamonds and to make my design.

The argument was so bad because I kept catching him in lies that he finally told me to F off , grabbed the ring off the counter that I had paid for, put it in his pocket and then called security on me to have me escorted out! So, now he had my money and the ring! He was going to keep both and have me removed!

When I told security what had happened, they instructed him to give me back the ring, which he threw back at me. Ultimately, to keep from being arrested and stripped of his crudentials, Michael  ended up making the ring I had ordered with what he says are the loose diamonds I had purchased but who really knows. At least they weren't tapered and it looked decent enough.

Listen, he sticks a pretty, trustworthy looking girl downstairs in the pit to gain your trust and once she passes you off to him your in the hands of an evil thief. Do not trust him. He verbally abuses and degrades women and rips off honest, hard working people. If you are a man, do not send your girl, mother or sister  alone with him and more-over, don't give your hard earned cash to a liar and a thief.

I posted this same review on YELP and he wrote a rebuttal saying that I came down and stole a ring that was on the counter, had the police called on me and had me arrested. He rips off so many people, he has no idea what or who he is talking about! He says he will post the video and police report to prove his side of the story.... I hope he does post the video because whoever views it will see that it is not me and it will prove he is trying to clear his name by insinuating that I am someone else.

People, you have thousands of choices when purchasing jewelry, you don't need to go to someone who is a liar, a thief and an overall bad person. PLEASE post the video, I'd love to see it because you will find that I am not on it...... I was alone when I was there first of all and second of all, I am more than happy to prove the video he speaks of ( if there really is one ) would be of someone other than me.

What color hair do I have? What color eyes do I have? What is my native language? How tall am I? What was I wearing? What was the girl wearing when she brought me upstairs? What distinctive quality do I have that is hard to miss when looking at me?

I clearly say that I was looking for a ring for my husband in the beginning of the review and he is going on about some guy stealing from him! What a joke!

HE IS A THIEF AND A LIAR. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE OR YOU WILL BE SORRY! Everything he posts from here on out will be a lie for the sake of damage control.

DON'T BE A SUCKER!

He switched diamonds on us period, he is a liar and a thief and I have even gotten emails from other people saying that he has been ripping people off for years... and his family is in on it too.

I bought high grade diamonds for a ring to be made and when I finally got the finished piece bach the stones that he used were lower grade and not the ones that I originally paid for. I am a certified gemologist and I kept that information to myself when buying. There is no doubt he switched the stones and when I asked him about it he became irate and began screaming at me, spitting and his eyes bugged out like a serial killer. He threatened me and said things to me that I dont feel comfortable repeating. Anyone who speaks to a woman that way or let alone another human being has serious issues.

So, Yes, HARD ROCKS JEWELRY IS A SCAM. I cant wait to see what his rebuttal is for me, lol. Hes nuts.

Michael from Hard rocks Jewelry. Please go back and read my report, it starts off with " I was shopping for a wedding ring for my husband".

Michael is trying to deflect the negative truth about him and his duplicitous and unethical ways. Let his response be a testimony to his character. HE IS DANGEROUS. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. You have thousands of choices when shopping for jewelry, do not let this crook ruin your special moment.

PLease post the video on youtube, Id love to see it. While you are at it, take the security video of the footage from when I was there showing you pocketing my ring and screaming at me with you mouth salivating everywhere and your gut hanging out.

I  just saw this review this person posted and It is 1000% a LIE.

They had come to our store and looked at engagement rings. Not finding one they liked one of our sales people took them to our manufacturing where we make jewelry. after they spend 30 minutes looking we noticed  that an $18,000 cushion cut diamond ring was gone so we called the building security and the LAPD which came to our office and searched for the ring. After reviewing the security tape the LAPD officer saw this guy put the ring in his pocket  (while he pretended to get his cel phone out)  sure enough when the officer asked him to empty his pockets the ring fell out in front of the officers foot. He was arrested on the spot and taked to jail. I have the police report and the video for any one that wants to see it. please contact me if you want.
I'm going to add the arrest report for this person for "grand theft " on line they wouldn't let me put it up here because his personal info is on it so I'm putting it on you tube including the security camera footage from when he stole out merchandise and was arrested and put in a petrol car. You are a thief sir and if you got the balls come say your lies to my face.

thanks
