My wife and I are a young couple with a three year old and a baby on the way. We are honest hard working proud Americans. I do not complain often because, I feel time wasted complaining is time that could have been used doing something productive. But people need to hear this story and know about this company. If you live in the Ormond Beach area DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH Hart & Associates Realty. 

We rent a home Through Hart & Associates Realty. We found the property through Zillow.com. The advertisement said the house had a fully fenced back yard. My wife and I love it decided to rent . We Have been in the home for over a year now and pay rent on time every month. A couple of months ago our neighbor on the south side of our house, informed us that the fence between his yard and ours, was his fence and he was taking it down. This neighbor is a old pervert, he is always looking in our yard and windows at my wife and little girl, and it freaks my wife out. Our lease was up in a couple of months and we told Hart & Associates Realty that if there was no fence we were not going to renew our lease. Deborah Simpson (Property manager and Realtor) assured us that they would work something out between our land lord and the neighbor to replace the fence.

 A couple of months went buy and Hart & Associates Realty sent us a copy of the lease for renewal, nothing had been done with the fence yet so we called Hart & Associates Realty, again and made them aware that we didn't want to renew the lease if there was no fence. Deborah assured us, again that they had worked something out between the neighbor and our landlord, so we signed the lease. The neighbor did not take the fence down yet so we thought nothing of it. Our lease renewal started May 1st 2012, on that very day the neighbor ripped the fence down. We felt that was a little fishy. My pregnant wife went to DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH Hart & Associates Realty office in Ormond and spoke to Deborah face to face, she explained to her what was going on, Deborah said that they were not going to replace the fence. My wife refereed back to the conversations they had about "working something out between the land lord and the neighbor" Deborah explained the landlord said she would not pay anything to put a fence up and she would just cancel the lease if we didn't like it. My pregnant wife left the office in tears, shocked at the unprofessional way that she was treated in Hart & Associates Realty office that day. 

All we want is a fence to keep this creepy old man from ogling my wife and child. Heart and Associates Advertised the property like the fence belongs to our landlord and we were assured several time we would have it for the new lease year. As far we are concerned Hart & Associates Realty are LIARS and SLUM LORDS. They are the most unprofessional and deceptive company we have ever had the displeasure of dealing with in our lives. AGAIN DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH Hart & Associates Realty.
