Complaint Review: Hawaii discount.com - Internet Internet

The bill I received said after it showed the taxes and fees that the grand total was $570.00 still have a copy if you want to see it.  However the grand total ended up being almost $1000,00 but the Alamo seeing what had been done to me reduced it by more than $100. and still have that receipt.  This is not a competion complaint, I'm a disabled veteran who got screwed by this company.  Again if the grand total would have showed all the fees from them and Alamo I would have been properly informed and then informed Hawaii Discount that I could beat their price by going directly to the rental companies, therefore they are not a discount site.  The was oneerror on my initial complaint, it said grand total after it listed the other taxes and not paid in full, but the bottom line is I didn't expect to pay more than the grand total.  They should give you the total price of both theirs and any other charges up front, the rental car companies do! See ticket below with grand total after they give the taxes and such, no where does it say grand total plus this amount.  My understanding of gran total is this is all you pay!!!!

We at Hawaiidiscount.com do offer a great price on car rentals. That part of this report is correct.

Our receipt for car rentals does not say paid in full and the site explains what need to be paid at the counter, to the penny. This person thought they paid in full.  Here is a link to the site where they ordered.

How someone could be confused on what they will pay is confusing to me.  This example above paid $240.76 direct to us and then paid 49.08 in fees.  This is a Hawaii law. They must pay the above fees. We are not allowed to collect them by Law.  This is the only complaint we have ever gotten and I think it is competition playing dirty pool.  We stand by our company which is the largest online activity and car rental provider for Hawaii.
