HCP Scam, Very Manipulative, Will take your money and kick you out Westchester Illinois
I arrived at the location. It is a very poor looking office building and the presentation of their office is no better. Inside you immediately notice how unorganized and unprofessional the atmosphere is. Before arriving, you call a number and speak with (Frances usually) where she tells you to bring references, resume, your ID and an $80 deposit on a background check. This is very unorthodox and I should have known that is was not a legit company when they could not afford or invest in a potential employee. Besides, I have a feeling they dont even do a background check, they just pocket the cash.
When I arrived I was immediately asked if I brought the money (and the last of my cash). I figure if I said no she'd ask me to get it before the interview. Following this I was sent to a room where they are played gargabe radio music and I was asked to fill out an application. The lady that greeted me at the door walked in and in about 5 minutes described the company and what they do. She used no details, no names and nothing more than very vague comments. This made me very skeptical about the company.
On top on this, she was very rude and carried herself unprofessionally. If they were a legit company they would treat their potential employees with respect. Following the orientation I had a face to face interivew with this lady Ms. Franco (if thats even her real name). she asked me a few questions about my work background and in the end said I was hired which i think happens for everyone since what she is doing is trying to MAKE A SALE. Her office was cluttered with very immature posters and fake recognition type awards.
She explained that I had to pay the $80 security deposit and a $300 deposit on training supplies. This is ludacris! I told her no and she wouldnt give up on trying to convince me otherwise since again this is how she makes money. She explained that I would get the money back after training but I didnt believe this for a second. And I was proven this by another post on this website by a person who did invest the money and was ultimately ripped off.
This is a private company who makes their money by ripping innocent hard working people off. They do not sell childrens protective products like they say they do, this is only a cover up. Everyone that works there is nothing short of cold hearted. Do not waste your time by going there!

Are you serious, you actually took the time to go to this site, and post a complaint. You never even took the position, yet you felt you needed to post a complaint, because we weren't professional enough for you..We are the fastest, youngest growing direct marketing company out there. LOOK IT UP! I can probably bey that you are still unemployed! Question: If we were so fishy, why did you come in, in the first place? If you felt making a refundable deposit of 80 dollars is fishy, then why did you even SHOW UP! Wow, at&t require you pay set up fee..The post office requires a fee, the kane county sheriff requires a application fee.. Apartment complexes require a app fee TRUE? What we do isn't illegal, and we require a deposit, not a fee (like the companies I mentioned above) I practically weeds out people with out a open mind. You get it in writing it's refundable. Question: How does it make sense to put a 2000 dollar ad, 1000 in rent, pay a call service, but furniture, hire actrsses to work in our office..lol All of this to get your 80 dollars..Robert Kiyosaki says: "Ignorance is Expensive". I guess he is a scam, because he sells books in real estate, and people don;t become rich. Knowledge isn't power, applied knowledge is.
