Helpmedownload.com Helpmedownload is A Big Scam Manila Internet
I tried to download a "free" AVASI! program through Helpmedownload.com. I did not receive the download and had to go to another source. I was receiving monthly charges on my credit card of $15.12 which I disputed. Initially, I could not find a website and there was no telephone number listed. Finally, I did locate their website. There was a telephone number which connected to a representative in Manila. I was told that the recurring charge was for technical support should there be a problem with the "free" download that I never received. I never authorized this service and never received the download. I canceled the non-existent membership and I'm waiting to see if I there are additional charges and if I receive a credit for this month's charge.

DO NOT GO TO HELPMEDOWNLOAD.COM
Avast! is a very good free antivirus program. You can get it from the official website by googling "avast free". It includes a resident web scanner that scans every image, script and embed in a webpage. I went to the above address to judge the legitimacy of the complaint and my Avast went crazy with infection warnings and refused to load the page. Helpmedownload.com contains malware and viruses that drive-by infect your computer when you go there. If you have visited it without adequate protection, you are probably infected with something.
