Has sold properties for several years making huge and illegal levels of commission.
From my personal knowledge he has borrowed money from clients and not fully repaid the loan. He took a returnable deposit from an English friend of 8500 to secure a property in Extremadura. A third party approached the seller directly and bought the property and despite numerous requests Berends never repaid his English client the deposit.
Berends is an untrustworthy person to do business with and I would warn anyone contemplating doing so to reconsider and to use a properly certified property selling business.
