I was in need of a vehichle after a car accident. When i  was finally able to drive after 3 months rehab for a broken back i bought a Jeep at a local car lot. Not even a month and a half after i bought it, it broke down on me. The car lot i bought it from never reported it to heritage. I spent over 1200 dollars on parts and still nothing. Heritage only knocked off one of my payments.. ($200.00) and still expected me to continnue to pay on the crap car they sold me. The car lot didnt know how to work on it so they sent it to a dealer. After a few weeks they call and say its fixed. That lasted for about 2 weeks and it broke down on me again. i dealt with the harrassing and rude calls and the broke down when it felt like it car for several more months.

By this time i have my first child(80-90 degree weather). they car stops running after its turned off.. or just never turns on. So needless to say anywhere i go it has to stay running or were stranded. That was the last straw. I told them to come get it. They told me well you still have to pay regardless one way or another. It took them a few weeks to come get it. They sent a guy in a pick up truck with some rope. Keep in mind the jeep still isnt running at this time. He comes to my house 3 times before he finally hauls it off.. almost 3 years later theyre trying to garnish my check for 7377.19. theyre awful people. hateful and greedy. im a single mother living pay check to pay check and They dont even have the decency to wait until after the holidays to garnish my wages... merry christmas to me i guess

You dont even know me enough to be running your mouth.. second yea im an unwed mother and im perfectly happy with that. Theres no "entitlement trip" here. I work for everything ive got and I support my child and my family so dont even start to act like you know one thing about me. It wasnt a repo it was be telling them to come get their pos car because im not paying for a death trap that hadnt even ran 98 percent of the time I owned it. Yes Ithey gave me a loan and all my payments were up to date when they came to get it. I paid well over what that car was worth and I wont be paying a penny more. So say what your rude a*s will. Your opinion means absolu jack s* to me.

Oh I see, still another unwed mother on the entitlement trip.  You chose to buy a car you could not afford.  It was an "as-is" sale.  Without regard to your decision to buy a car without a warranty, the payments are still due.  Just because they did a repo, it DOES NOT mean the contract simply vanishes into thin air.  You are on the hook for the contracted amount.  Nothing unusal, illegal, immoral or unethical here.  Just another subprime version of that hit song:  "And Its Wailing Time Again".  No, I don't work for them.
