Heritage Warranty Insurance Risk Retention Group Inc. Heritage is not refunding me for the pre approved warranty work perfomed. Lincoln Nebraska
March 29th 08' I dropped my Jeep at the dealer garage, they inspected it and received prior authorization from Heritage from work to be performed. I was told I needed to pay the garage $1026.35 upon pick-up, and Heritage would send me a refund check in the mail. I spent the next several weeks going back and forth between the garage and the Administrative Services who handles the Heritage claims and finally over a month after the work was performed I was informed that everything was clear and a check for around $500 would be issued to me.
I was told that the "Radiator fan Relay package" was denied on my claim regardless of the fact that under the "Covered Parts, Section 11 Electrical" it states "...All relays and solenoids, all electric motors..." The garage said it was a defective part that had failed and was causing my engine to over heat.
In spite of this, I still have not received any check from Heritage. I called 1(800)753-5236 which is the claims number listed on my contract and was told "We are an independent company (Administrative Services) who handles the Heritage claims, I'm seeing that your claim is approved and awaiting payment of $500, I apologize for the delay in this but we have no control over Heritage" I asked for the contact info for Heritage and was told "We don't have any means of contacting them" which is total BS.
Anyway it's been 5mos that I've been waiting for them to pay, and I don't know what to do, please help me with any ideas.
