HFC Beneficial No Call backs on loan after appraisal was done Ripoff Reno Nevada
We filed for a refinance loan on internet with lendingtree.com and received about 5 or 6 diferent companies responses we chose 3 of those to refinance with in which HFC Beneficial of Reno, Nevada was one of them in about 2 weeks we had an appraisal done with HFC Beneficial . We received a phone call telling us that the appraiser hadn't sent all the information on the comps that they needed to get loan process going ,they were waiting on more information. Then called again and was told the person taking care of my loan process was no longer in this office was moved to another location and this new person which was the Branch Manager would be taking over for our loan processing until final signing of papers. Was told they were still waitng for all the comps on appraisal. Had a message about two days later to call this person was never able to get in touch with her left several mesasages over a two day period was never called back. On the third day received a mesage to call first person that was in charge of this process we were both working at the time that he called so the following monday 3 days later i called this person was left on hold for a few minutes ended up hanging up (long distance call for me), called again a few hours later and left a message on his service was never called back so a few hours after that i called again guess what he finally answered his phone. I was told that the comps they were expecting never came through to expectation. was never actualy told loan would'nt be processed but was under that impression. still could'nt get a straight answer out of this man. I let him know how unhappy i was at the way we were treated over all this , considering we took the extra effort to get all the things in place to get this financing done in the least amount of time possible . They could not even take the time to let us know that it was not going to happen they left us hanging even knowing that we could possibly be going with another company for financing. (unbelievable). Still do not know what was wrong with the appraisal asked but could not get a straight answer never even found out what the appraisal came in at. It still amazes me how they pushed us to get all of the paper work and appraisal done so they could get our busines..hahahaha...........

Did you pay for the appraisal when the inspection was done? If so you are entitled by law to a copy of the report. Unfortunately if you didn't pay for it then HFC is not required to send you a copy. Move on,there are many loan companies available to you. You need to start shopping to see who can do your loan for you and don't waste anymore time with HFC.
