HHGregg Clown Delivery team damages appliances being delivered, damages original doors and molding in the house.Company denies damage then jerks me around for 5 months. North Olmsted Ohio
It all started when the CLOWN delivery team came late Janurary 6th, 2007 and had to take turns using the bathroom the minute that got to our house. Next, they took out out old fridge, dropping and pushing it off the front steps and heaving it into the truck, scraping and breaking it as they went. (You'll see why this is relevant in a minute)
The new fridge was bigger and they scraped, and pushed it through our 2 doorways. In the process they scraped some paint off the front of the fridge, and made a deep gash in the side of our "new" fridge. Chunks of wood from the molding dropped to the floor. Our front indoor door was also scraped in several places. Last but not least, a small part of the front of the "new fridge" had broken off. When we complained the response was, "Well, we can get your old fridge back in here"
Honestly, do you think the old fridge will still be working after being dropped off the front steps? They gave us a number to call and said they would return with the broken part that week. Never heard from them.
So I started calling and going to the store many times. I was always referred to the delivery dept at another location and a person on the phone.
It is now May and I have been referred from person to person for 5 months now and have not recieved the missing part, nor had any compensation the the scraped front of fridge or damgage to my house. I ACTUALLY PAID THEM A DELIVERY FEE of 59.99!
