We ordered a  96' x 198' foot arena and 60' round pen from High Desert Livestock Supply in Nov. of 2009. We gave them a deposit on Nov. 16th 2009. We requested that it be completed and delivered before we moved into the new property which was Dec. 4th 2009. High Desert Livestock Supply agreed. Every week after the agreed upon date, we have called to see when they are coming for the delivery. Every week we were told an arrival time and then they would not show up, nor would they call us to say they couldn't make it. At one point, an employee for the company called to say it would be a little bit longer because they were looking to buy the wire panels for the bottom of the round pen. After the wait, when the products finally came (months later) Charisse was away. When she returned she saw that the panels were made incorrectly. The wire was cut at the bottom and the sharp edges could have cut or injured a horses foot, the space between the first and second rails were too large. The openings would have challenged a horse to try and escape. We have been extremely patient until two weeks ago when, Charisse once again called to see why High Desert Livestock Supply did not show up again. Richie the owner said,  "I will personally drive down to you on Monday and deliver your remade panels on Tuesday." Although it was a rainy day, once again he did not have the courtesy to call to say he would not be able to make it. Then on Sunday, Feb. 14th we started to put up the arena panels and we discovered the welding was done so poorly that it actually cut Charisse's finger on the sharp welds. We examined more of the panels and discovered they all were done in the same manner. That is when, Charisse finally lost her temper, and called High Desert Livestock Supply on the phone and left a harsh message to get all the panels off the property and to give them their money back. We feel we have been very patient and every week, we have called to see when they are coming, only to be told that the next week they would pick up the panels. There has never been a phone call to say they could not make it. We would reschedule our plans for the day, and miss work when ever we were told the delivery would be made.

When Charisse first saw the panels she called High Desert Livestock Supply and said that she and her husband were going to cancel the check because the panels were not manufactured correctly. We were told, "No you don't have to do that, we will do good by you. We will take care of it."  That was in late Dec. 2010. After the harsh phone call that we left on Sunday the 14th of Feb., we finally got a call on Feb. 15th offering a $1000. discount for all the trouble. We have refused because we dont trust their word and we no longer believe in their product. We have requested a full refund. But they say "No."

Well, as we are working to get our money back from High Desert Livestock Supply, we are finding out more information. We wish we would have checked with the BBB of Nevada. It seems they have a F rating. We also found out that they do not have a license or own their name. They also owe another man $10,000.  Yesterday we went out to the pile of panels to see if we could possibly salvage anything and found that the panels are 11'8'' inches. We paid extra for 8' panels on our round pen. These are not even 12' panels. I Yiy, Yiy, every time we look closer we find more that is wrong. We are talking to the different news stations, the Reno Gazette, and anyone else who can help. Yesterday we talked to the district attorney of our county. If you have also been ripped off by High Desert Livestock Supply, let us know and perhaps we can do a law suit together. I have pictures now, I will try and post them.
