Over the last four years I have contracted company “Highland Moving and Storage” to provide me with a one time move to their location as well storage. During the first 4 years it was pleasant and the billing was done quite handidly. Once I moved to Norway and changed credit cards and employers the problems started. There was a declined charge on my credit card because I canceled it. I promptly sent them new information. The billing cycle for my monthly storage was than charged again to which I sent in an email my new credit card information. In the past this was no big deal, I simply sent them a new one and the billing was again resumed monthly with little to no hassle. I sent them my new credit card via email and it was not received or acknowledged by Highland Moving and Storage.

They cannot be trusted with private information and can't recieve emails. I've sent them multiple requests for information which were completely ignored, one important request was for their internal communications in how they get and process a client’s information. I have also requested a client satisfaction survey which was redirected towards and email correspondence.

 Having looked back at all my correspondence and the increase in the monthly charge from 141.00CND to 197.00CND it appears that they have a really good front end for dealing with a client to get them in the door and they then use the bonded and insured trade tactic as a paywall and once you have your goods in their possession you become lambasted.

I talked with the CEO and it was pleasant for the first three minutes than he asked how we can resolve the problem. The extra costs inferred due to their negligence is over 1000 dollars. I told him that I would like to prorate the services to the day I tried to give them my credit card information and his mood did an extreme 180 and he began to berate me and threaten to sell my things.
