This company has been ripping off the public since they started only picking up the trash only once a week. There have been to many excuses why they had to do this. Diesel has come back down and the service has not gone back to twice a week. How convienent.

After months of no callbacks, not picking our trash up weekly as paid for and not picking our trash up the next day after no service we contacted a new service to service our trash. This company picks up twice a week and is cheaper.

To top this all off, my wife had been calling for 4 day straight for Hiram to pick up our old trash can we dont want. Our new trash company dropped off thier new can and today was trash day and my new company picked up what was in the new can and Hirams can, with no question.

I had enough at this point. I called Hiram myself and informed them in a Voice mail that we had called for the past 4 day with no response and informed them they had 24 hours to pick up the can or we would us it for what ever we needed it for. Just as I finished my statement on Voice mail a woman came on the line a proceeded Threaten me personally as well as calling me an F**K'g A** H**e, Bas**d, MF and treatened Sheriff action and $500 fee for the can and hung up on Me.

My advise to anyone is; cancel your service, tell all not to use this company and be use reference in dealing with hometown company's.

I post this using my 1st ammendment right to "Fredom of speech"

This is too funny, because I just got off the phone with Laura French herself, and yes she was yelling screaming and SURPRISE.... cussing.....  Not tolerating that type of behavior out a person I hang up on her and she calls back, runs her mouth and hangs up on me.....  Sorry but grow up........ this company needs a lesson in business management......... or better yet Customer Service!

 

Suggestion: I ignored the bad posting and went with this company, an man do we regret it........ Steer clear, there are other trash services out there with reputable reputations, go with them even if they are a little more expensive, Hiram isn't worth the hassle.

 

Sitting and waiting for what kind of rebuttal or excuse they come back with..... Really!!

I would like to apologize to anyone that has been cussed at by a person on the telephone by someone at HIram. If you know the vocies on the other end you will know that the girl that normally answers does not cuss at people. When your can was pickd up, it was because someone was in the area. The sheriff officer had no impact on us picking up your can. Hiram regrets losing people but there were many factors at play. And an update to whomever wishes to read. In the Forney area where you live the service is changing for the better. If you would like more information on how Hiram is turning things around please give us a call at 972-524-2418. They finally picked up the trash can in the presence of a sheriffs officer for a different issue and still have the balls to send us a bill for a service we canceled.  We are sending the company a letter "certified" and requiring a signature to prove they recieved the cancelation and that they picked up the can.  We are going to pay for the 2 weeks into the next quarter we used there service.  I suggest all of you in the future do the same by sending a letter certified to prove everything that has happened.  Also document all phone calls and any conversation that happen if you should get a real person on the phone.  If you have documents, logging of calls and any proof of bill payments a court will no way to doubt you.  Have all your ducks in a row.
