HJ MARTIN & SON ILLEGAL DREDGING AT VACATION PROPERTIES IN PRISTINE DOOR COUNTY GREEN BAY Wisconsin
CEO/Owner of HJ Martin & Son owns several beachfront vacation properties in Egg Harbor located in beautiful Door County, Wisconsin. One small problem, his boats are too big for water depth at these properties. He tried several times to contact DNR for required permits for dredging, all times he was told that he could not dredge to accomodate his watercrafts. He then went above the above the law & used his employees & rented equipment to dredge these properties illegally behind the Wisconsin Dept. of Natural Resources' back. Dredged material which contains contaminates was dumped into woods, blown up onto shoreline, & trucked off to other locations. This occurred during fish spawning season as well.
This CEO/Owner is a very wealthy individual, is also a member of the Green Bay Packer Executive Board, and seems to think that because he has unlimited resources, that he can do as he pleases, even if it is illegal. If this is how he uses his company's resources & position in the community, is this the right company for your next project? He could end up breaking laws on your project & leave you holding the bag. Watch for his rebuttal, it will attack me & this file but not offer any explanation for facts contained in this report.

I knew anyone who filed rebuttal would attack me, I even stated that at end of report. So here are the pictures, same ones the Wisconsin Dept of Natural Resources has. Who knows, maybe I will even now be accused of creating them on photoshop or something. Next time maybe not ask CEO for truth, they often say a picture is worth a thousand words.

I am neither an employee nor ex-employee of H J Martin. I am a disinterested party who has extensive knowledge of the issue(s). H J Marting is a very reputable company, one of the largest employers of union labor in the State of Wisconsin. I believe this is a very disgruntled employee trying to exact revenge for his status as an ex employee. I know for a fact that the employees of H J Martin are treated very, very well- like family. I also am familiar with various shoreline issues in the area the complainant refers to. I believe his statements to be incredibly inaccurate and simply put forth as an act to try to harm an employer who was very good to him. I believe this site to be of value when the truth is told, but can also be utilized to mount a smear campaign. Readers: please know H J Martin & Son is a very good company as are the individuals who run the company.
