HMS Homesure Services, Home Warranty Rip Off!! Nothing but lies and empty promises Fort Lauderdale, Fairfax, Florida
Our a/c quit working. After paying our deductible and taking off work on three separate occasions for four separate service companies, we have been put in idefinite limbo and consistently lied to by representatives of HMS.
It has been a month of hour plus phone calls every single day, which always begin with a represntative claiming that HMS has not yet received pricing from THEIR service company (third rate, granted, but I didn't get to pick them, HMS did).
When we get to the part of the phone call where I explain, AGAIN, that I had the service company call with the pricing direct to an HMS superviser while I was on the phone with the same HMS superviser (the last time the service company provided the pricing was the FIFTH time they had done so), then the agent with whom I am speaking "finds" that in their report and puts me on indefeinite hold.
I am then told that the claim is in either authorization and purchasing, and given a fictitious number of maximum hours I will wait for a return call and a solution. I then speak to a superviser, who assures me it will be handled by her personally and expeditiously. I can never reach this same person again, and we start over with "Ma'am, we are waiting on the pricing from XXXX Services".
I am now ontracting to replace the unit myself with a reputable company, and taking HMS to court. I have already filed complaints with the Attornies General in both VA and Fl, as well as both Better Business Bureaus and the governing insurance agencies in both states.
