I responded to an ad for a 2012 Honda Gold Wing offered for $7000 on oodle market place by Maria Stenzle.I was told it was her fathers who recently passed away and the motorcycle was crated and in storage in Portland Oregon and would be handled by Hockliffe Transport headquartered in the UK.I emailed Hockliffe Transport to register with them and verified with them again that there was a motorcycle in storage belonging too Maria Stenzle. They affirmed it with shipping details and account information for the bike. They were anxious to receive payment for the motorcycle so it could be shipped right away.Everything seemed legit and I was even told I had a 5 day inspection period to inspect the bike and if I wasn't happy with it they would give me a full refund and pick up the bike. They told me the bike would ship out Thursday or Friday and I checked there website for tracking the shipment. It apperared the motorcycle left Oregon when scheduled make it to Stockton Ca. where it went cold!! The bike never arrived and now no responce from Hockliffe Transport LTD.This appears to be a very sophisticated RIPOFF SCHEME!! Please help if you know what can be done? The money was sent to a bank account at Barclays Bank in the UK.Please help!!

I checked with "Company Check" for Hockliffe Transport LTD. and found nothing negative either there or with extensive Google search??No RIPOFF REPORTS nothing!!Go to their website Hockliffetrans.com and see what you think?? Let me know??Even though I was getting emails from them directly with totally legitimate tracking and shipping instructions I contacted them through their contact page on their website to verify the account was legitimate and honestly everything appaears legitimite.I even have a screen shot of tracking information on the bike showing it left Portland Oregon with a stop in Medford then on to Stockton Ca where its now cold?? Absolutley doesn't make sense why Hockliffe would go through the motions of even giving FAKE TRACKING INFO??? You act like this is the oldest scheme in the book but go to their website and investigate Hockliffe yourself and see whats up??

What part of this seemed legitimate?  Sending bank wires to a foreign country?  Convoluted trans-national schemes?  A shipping company you've never heard of that claims to be based in the UK, but delivers literally anywhere in the world (even Fedex doesn't do that) and also acts as an escrow service?  Said company being headquartered in a single-family house somewhere in the middle of nowhere?  Free round-trip vehicle shipping (a service that would cost thousands of dollars)?  You fell for just about the oldest Internet scam.
