Everything they did was shady. The contractors never showed up for appointments, showed up unannounced at random hours of a random day, disappeared for several weeks, hired the cheapest crappiest sub-contractors available, did not get damages they caused to my house repaired, kept jacking up the price and adding on charges for items that were already in the original contract, did not ascertain their ability to complete the work requested before starting, and thus had to change the course of the work several times due to issues of space or cost. When I fired them, they decided that they wanted the full contract price from me, despite having only completed half the work, and despite the fact that I ended up providing all the materials that were supposed to be covered in the contract. Showed up unannounced one last time at my house to yell and threaten me, would not leave when I told them to, then slammed my door on their way out while screaming at me about suing my a** off.

The sub-contractors were inexperienced and unprofessional. I caught them smoking in my new addition on several occasions, used low quality materials and sometimes the wrong materials altogether, left spills, tears, burns, and stains all over my brand new snow white carpet and I found the plastic tarp I had laid down for them as a pathway wadded up against a wall, borrowed equipment such as paint rollers, step ladders, brooms, etc., from around my home without asking and often left them in dirty and poor condition, screamed profanities at each other while working, never knew what part of the job they were there to do because the contractor did not properly brief them, and so they ended up screwing up a lot of work and redoing it.

I was given an estimate of 4-8 weeks to completion, and after 5 months I'd finally had enough and fired them. Now they are attempting to put a mechanic's lien on my home, which is illegal because the legal time limit has passed since any substantial work was last done, attemping to sue me for the entire contract amount, and all around turned into the contractor from h*ll.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
