In regards the the rip off complaint; This couple was very misinformed and vindictive. I will not bad mouth them at all because it is not how I do business or how Home Performace Alliance works. All I Have to say about this compaint is that this couple never got the windows and got their $500 deposit back. Hence, why i am confused; no work was done. No harm, no foul.... They did not read the contract in full detail. Randall Mullins who is our factory trained intallers are rated A+ with the Better Buiness Beauro. Furthermore, they wanted our factory direct best window called the Sashlite Techology for all 27 windows at $15,000. Aslo, just like every installation we perform when installations are ordered with our company we always pull the permit, take out there old single pane 27 windows, then clean the debree and entire space. This is what we do for all of our intallations. i told thsi Couple, the Calhouns that 27 sashite windows can not be done for $15,000 which includes installation, a lifetime warranty, a 40% energy pledge and 27 cevlar hurrican screens. I made a call to Mr. Delia and asked what the best price i can give them because i only have the authority to give them the price i quoted them. i rold then verbally and in writing that i could remove all 27 old current windows, and install our duragaurd window brand, Still a very excellent window made by our factory in tampa. they agreed. The next day they changed there mind and we sent them there full deposit back and did not go through with the order. No intallations were done, The Brian Calhoun who is an older man with children, started to prank call my compny and then called me and even offered me a job for his awn care service. Alot if hipocrocy was going on , but bottom line was myself and Home Perfromance Alliance stood by our word. Our windows are very energy efficant,safe and we our factory firect so we have a lifetime warranty and great customer service. Thank you- Matt Begelman,,,, also mu ethics and morals mean more to me than a signed cintract, i educated potential. i educate people on our wonder techology. I belive this couple was a little malicious and his orank calls to me and the company were very immature for Brian Calhoun a 50 year old man with kids to be calling me and making fun of certain situations. Bottom line, no work was done, and they got there snall depoit back. I hope they find what they are looking for, thank you- Matt Begelman
