Home safe America Loan modification scam Hempstead, New York
I was contacted by a guy named Damon immediately after I visited the Government mAking homes affordable website. I checked them out online and they seemed reputable. Back in September they didn't have all of these negative complaints. I guess they were just getting started. Damon assured me I would get a refund if the modification didn't go thru. He no longer works with the company. Everything he told me was untrue. I paid by check 2500. I wish I had paid by credit card I would have done a chargeback. Now after my mortgage companies denied the modifications and also told me thAt this company did not return their calls when they requested more information they won't return my calls or emails. They change numbers and email addresses and they have a strange answering system. Sometimes they say legal solutions or they just say hello and start questioning who you are when they do ever answer the phone. It is still hard to believe thAt I was scammed by this shady company. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. I reported them to the FTC and have an attorney that I am working with. The guy that works there named Howard sows not return calls and he is some type of manager. Rupa doesn't return calls or emails and she was the main person working on my case. I don't understand how they contain to operate as a business. We should all get together on a class action suit.
