Homecomings Financial RIPOFF The mortgage company didn't pay our taxes also changed escrow amounts 3 months in a row and said we had a shortage when we did not the county put a lien on our house Dallas Texas
Our loan was sold to Homecomings Financial. They were to pay our taxes and insurance and they had this money in escrow. They were late paying our insurance and we just found out the county has a lean on our house as they hadn't paid our taxes. When I called the woman laughed and said she thought they weren't due until April! They then said we had a shortage of $657. in our escrow and wants to raise our housepayment.
Our new statement says we now have 2,056. in our erscrow so where did this money come from? We are in the process of refinancing with another company and they said these people are ripping us off. They are charging us huge penalties and sais we hadn't paid our house payment and charged for the - escrow account and we had to pay the taxes and a late penalty of $94.00 and now we have to somehow collect the money back from them. We do have our bank staement showing the payment was paid not once but twice. The payments are $2,672,54 each. There are many people in Minnesota being ripped off and losing their homes due to this mortgage company. Also it is my understanding someone in our Govenors office is associated with this and it was in our local newspaper known as mortgage stripping!
