Homecomings Financial Refused my payment, now threaten foreclosure. ripoff Phoenix Arizona
Homecomings Financial is not a user friendly organization with whom to do business. I didn't know this before obtaining my home loan with them, but later learned of their reputation through a relative who used to work for an REO company. She said they have more REO's from Homecomings than any lender in the market.
Now I know why! Last year I was out of work due to my son being in the hospital with cancer. During this time my insurance pooicy came up for renewal. I somehow didn't get a notice that it was due and with everything else going on in my life, the policy lapsed. I quickly got another policy, but not quickly enough for Homecomings who immediately slapped an $8000 per year policy on my house! Not bad for a month of coverage, eh?
I informed thm that I already had coverage and sent them a copy of my binder - but that didn't stop them. They refused to take the policy off! They now refuse to accept my payment and threaten foreclosure. Merry Christmas from Homecomings!!
