I built my dream home back in October of 2013. So I thought. I should have listened to my gut when the made me pay 10% down months before I moved in! Once things were signed, they could honestly care less about us. There have been so many issues that I have just let go because like most people, I work full time and have small children and frankly can't handle any more stress with this incompetant people. I will gradually ad more of my unresolved issues but here is one for tonight:
Avi had to repair a wall in my laundry room, so they moved the washer and dryer out and away from wall. When they reconnected washer they crossed the hot water with the cold water. Long story short, I shrunk several loads of laundry. Mainly lululemon clothes were the things I was upset about. I reported this to them and they told me to make a list of all the items, I did this and also took photos. So 5 months, yes 5 months later, they told me "sorry, you signed the home warranty paperwork so this isn't covered" I asked for a small, small amount of compensation and they said no because I had signed the paperwork on walk through day back in October. I guess you need to bring a crystal ball or fortune teller with you at signing day!
Like I said earlier, this is just one minor little thing, the horror stories go on and on and I want the public to know how terrible Homes by Avi is to deal with any sort of complication.
