I called Honda financial services after I had noticed on my credit report that I was showing 2 late payments. I had not been late to the best of my knowledge so I went into my payment history and noticed that I hadnt switched over bank records when changing banks so the payment had not gone through..I called made a FULL payment and explained the situation...Wow, NEVER in my life have I ever dealt with more heartless, cold and mean people. They didnt care..I explained the situation and asked them to see that in the last 5 years I had NEVER been late or missed a payment, if they, and since the late payment had dropped my score by 50 points I was asking for some mercy.

This guy told me"I could change it for you but I wont"...That he wasnt responsible for making my payments that it was my fault. I understand that I should have made sure that the bank info had got changed over but I mean come on...no late payments, I paid what I owed in full and they STILL act like I was some low life that was trying to weasel my way out of something.

I have 1 piece of advice if you need financial services DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY. They are awful to deal with and rude beyond belief. Save yourself the headache!!!

You state that you didn't switch your payment when you changed banks..Okay it could and doeshappen. But you can not be reported late until you are AT LEAST 30 days late, you stated you had 2 late payments so we can figure that you were at least 60 days late.

For someone who is so concerned about their credit score, you hopefully monitor your bank account in the same way. Especially if you changed banks and as such should have made sure that everything got transfered over. If sodidn't it seem strange to you that you had probably had several hundred dollars more in your account than you would have if your car payment went through? Where if you noticed it didn't get pulled, at most it would have been a couple weeks late and nothing noted on your credit report.

Your lucky you only had two late payments. As there are some companies who would have just reposessed your car.
