Won a vehicle on ebay decsribed as great running condition etc etc. Went to pick up the car after signing all the their waivers for as is, check engine light etc etc left the lot and within 10 miles the check engine light popped up. I then called Andrei and he stated that it must have just been that a wire got wet because the engine was cleaned, I took his word after being pretty confident after seeing their ebay feedback (little did i know there are so many complaints on these guys) and I drove the car home to NC. After getting home I went to my independant BMW mechanic and he automatically knew it was the valve stems seals after pulling the codes.
The valve stem seal job is about a $5500 job through an indy or $7500 if you take it to BMW. I automatically called Andrei and told him the situation and he forwarded me to his "manager" Brian who I went back and forth with and he finally made the commitment to repair the car for me at his cost. I then ended up driving the car all the way back up to them after from NC to PA, left the car for a week for them to rectify the problem, they ended up giving me some story how it was just a misfire!!! If it was just a misfire would i drive the car back 22 hours round trip???
Finally, when I flew back up to PA to pick the car up they called me to tell me they wanted me sign a waiver before i took the car off the lot, which i refused to do! Why would i sign a waiver until i know for a fact the car was fixed and I haven't even driven it? Because they clearly did not fix it! Well, after 5 minutes off the lot the check engine light was back on! they didnt fix the car, made me drive 22 hours round trip, had to pay for gas and tolls both ways for absolutely nothing!!!! These guys sell junk! they turn off check engine lights and make u sign waivers because they know they are going to turn right back on! they are scammer! their ebay name is a bunch of bull! and I advise EVERYONE to stay far away from them!!!! I guess the next time I will see them is in court now that I have eveidence that they stated they would resolve the problem at their cost!! LIARS, SCAMMERS, THIEVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
