Hotels.com Hotels.com is a nightmare company. They are not honest, price guarantee is phoney, customer service will not answer the phone, and reps that work the phone lines are unreliable/misleading. Reward Po Internet, Internet
Hotels.com should be put out of business by the BBB. This company is practicing very deceptive tactics. I have attempted to contact customer service multiple times to no avail. I have been kept waiting for a rep to answer my phone calls for more than 30-40 minutes, often resulting in the line going dead. No one answers at Customer Service. But when I call RESERVATIONS/SALE, the line is answered quickly.....but when they find out I have a problem that needs to be resolved, I am either disconnected or put on hold for another 30-40 minutes before being disconnected again. The "floor manager", Joseph said he would take care of getting me to someone that could help me, but, of course, that was not truthful.
I have not received my correct reward points, overcharged by $36.00 for a hotel room, and found out that booking directly with the hotel (Americinn) was much cheaper. But there is no way for me to resolve the issues.
I would never recommend anyone using this company. I am appalled at their lack of business ethics and the ethics of the personnel involved in reservation/sales and the mysterious (maybe phantom) customer service department.
