If you cancel your account they will make your credit limit 0.  You would think that this is good but...  Next, they will show that you owe an outstanding balance, lets say $10,000.  This is OK too.  They will take the outstanding balance and subtract it from the available credit which is 0.  This is nagative ten thousand dollars (-$10000).  Now they report this to the credit agencies as you are $10000 over your credit limit.  Now go to a bank and try to get a loan.  You can't because this hurts your credit score severely.



 



Add this to the bogus charges, the fact that they are the only company out there that the US Mail system takes 3-4 weeks to send their statements out, and add their piss poor customer service. 



How can a company do business like this?  It is easy, our government is letting them do it.  Try going to you consumer protection agency in your state and see what they do.  In Idaho they do absolutely nothing but send your complaint to the company in question and ask them if they are doing anything wrong.  They will deny any wrongdoing and the protection ageny will send you their response/denial and close the case even if they lied.  Case closed.
