HSBC/HFC Loan modification Brandon Florida
I had an okay mortgage with HFC my intrest rate would go down every year as long as i made my payments on time and i did. untill i got a letter from them saying my mortgage had changed and they were no longer going to lower the intrest rates.almost a year ago now i started to fall behind last febuary i applied for a loan modification and was approved i just had to make the trial period payments.
In May i got a letter saying i owe 4500.00 when i called i was told i was 3 months behind on the mortgage and they had no record of any modifcation even though i have paperwork saying i was approved he told me they just upgraded the system and my info must be on the old system.
so i called 2 days ago to try and make a payment i was told my account has a block on it so i can not make a payment online or over the phone he could not tell me why my account was blocked that info must be on the old system and the only way i could make a payment was to send cash via western union and gave me an address to send it to (ya i trust this wouldn't you?) I talked to a real estate lawyer he said the best thing to do would be forecloser i will never see the end of this loan in my lifetime.
HELP!! i dont want to loose my house but i am tired of fighting with them i know i can't win!!!!!!

I have remodified my morgage with HSBC lowered down to 700 a month.so I paied this amount now I get calls saying I still owe 500 more on top of the 700. they try to get more money out of yo each month, or I send a payment and they tell me they did not get it, acording to my bank payment has gone throu.wish these people woul get it together they have taken me now for 4.000 eztra dollars in two months. I have a very limited income.
