Hughes Net HORRIBLE - WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, POOR INTERNET, HIGHLY MISLEADING!!! internet Nationwide
NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!! I HAVE NEVER had worse customer service than with Hughes net! WE got Hughes net for internet services - WiFi as specified upon ordering!! Technician was to arrive on thursday for set time, showed up the monday prior to thursday to install, only notification that was received was a phone call that he was on his way! Had to rearrange everything quickly - very inconsiderate and inconvenient!! When technician showed up to install, he never discussed placement of satellite or equipment, up his completion - or so called- he had placed satellite on house in the middle of the wall, not on roof or corner, in the middle of the front outside wall. HORRIBLE eye sore!! Upon further exam of his work, noted that he had attached satellite to/thru wall and into electrical box (breaker box) potentially creating fire hazard, as well as he attached it also to/thru plastic water line! When we called Hughes Net on this, they responsed with "not responsible " and refused to send anyone out unless signal was lost, they also said we could pay $100 to have someone come out to look at their mess-up!! Uhhh-i don't think so!!! The internet service was installed broad band -no router or even line to hook up to use. They placed motel in very back room of house when it was supposed to be package with TV service, over 100ft from TV. Had to purchase router, 100ft of Ethernet cable just to reach!! Hughes net denied responsibility for any of these issues and that we would have to pay $100 for someone to look at it, and probably not change. ALL of the customer service representatives were very rude, hateful, argumentative, and unwilling to help or even listen to problem, cut off when trying to talk!!! THIS IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH EVER!! I DONT SEE HOW THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS, ITS TRULY A SHAM! !!
