I love body kits Defective cat California ( state) Internet
I purchased a catalytic converter on October 3rd 2015. I had it installed with in the next couple days. About 5 months later I took my car to AAA, where I normally go to get my car worked on. The mechanic that worked on my car mentioned that the cat I had on there " looked like it was tampered with". The mechanic went on to say that he " inspected the cat " further only to find that " the cat was hallo". Then he went on to ask " how much did I pay for the cat"? And I replied " about 100$."
The mechanic said " that's really cheap" and that " you were most likely ripped off". In all actuality I paid exactly 74.93$. I have record of the email confirmation of purchase. I was pretty livid that I had most likely been ripped off. I was even more upset when I spoke to a gentalman from I love body kits legal department. The first day I spoke with him he said " ok give us till the end of the day to get in touch with the vendor to find out what happened and I'll call u back." He never called back.
So I waited till 4 pm on March 15th to call them back. ( same day call) then the 16th I was told the same thing. They never called back for the rest of the week. One number was out of service when I finally called back that sunday the 20th of March. I was able to get through on another number and I left a voicemail demanding that "someone give me some information on what someone can do regarding my situation or I will have the company sued". I haven't heard anything yet... I also kept the defective part as proof.
