IAF Beverage, Ice Age Frost ripoff Dallas Texas
Almost 18 months ago I was contacted by IAF Beverage to get buy into what they said was a guaranteed money maker. I did some research on the company and did not find anything negative about them and the business model seemed promising in the way they presented it. They said that they would set me up with frozen drink machines in 7 locations and that each location would sell a minimum of 2 cases of product a month.
The profit on 2 cases a month at the rates the claimed we could sell the product would turn out to be about $298 a month per location that they set for you. I soon found out that this was not the case at all. They sent out a unqualified locator who placed 3 of the 7 he was supposed to and only after I raised heck with the company and asked for my oney back, they sent hime back out and by that time all the locations had failed, and we no where close to producing the 2 case per month claims.
Not to mention I financed the purchase of this $29,000 dollar business opportunity on credit cards, becasue the comapny said I would be able to pay that back in a few months. In the end I spent a lot of money and never really made any, still paying on the credit cards to this day June 2006. And when I asked for my money back from the company they say that they have fulfilled there obligations. And they would not consider giving me back my money.
I peronally know 5-10 people that were severly finacially hurt by this company, if you are thinking about getting involved with Ice Age Frost do not touch that comapny with a ten ffot pole they are full of smoke and mirrors, and will leave you in the dust, in financial ruin.
