ID THeft Protection.com I was ripped off by ID Theft Protection.com, when I never signed up for services to begin with. Internet
I was applying fo payday loans and was being sent through one site after another. I was putting in my information to receive a loan, not id theft protection services. I saw a debit on my account for $31.85 a few day's later, then a week later another debit for $7.99. I contacted the first company "idtheftprotection.com" and went through the whole process of requesting the refund, which I felt was so routine for them that it made me uneasy dealing with them. Something told me I wasn't going to get any money back.
The other company stated that there was no refund, the rep was ruder than rudre to me. I stated to him" I would have a bad attitude to, if this was my job, teling people all day long that they weren't able to receive a refund." I also tried to get more information from him about the company but he hung up on me. So now I have been told by both companies that I will not be refunded because I asked to be signed up for those services.
This is a lie, I purposely checked the box that stated I "did not" want those services but they stole from my account anyway. These companies are in conjunction with the payday loan services to rip off the consumer who already doesn't have enough money in their pockets to begin with. This is robbery and they need to be stopped. The payday loan services are a ripoff to begin with. I have learned a costly lesson and will avidly tell others not to fall into this trap.
