PATRICK... It is my understanding that the genesis of the malfeasance started with Ideal and Alvarez, Adamo and Martin. They stopped paying the subcontractors and pocketed monies before Rossey.Oben took over and hid that from them at the sale of Ideal. They also issued false contractor affidavits to banks to get money even AFTER the sale to Rossey/Oben. BUT again, this shouldn't surprise you. I understand that one of the purposes of RipOffReport is to somehow set the wheels for pressuring companies or individuals to settle by slandering their names such as you have done here - in particular with Rossey. I wish Rossey would have responded to your defamatory statements; but, perhaps he was more concerned with finishing the homes that Ideal (Adamo and friends) left abondoned. The question should be put to Adamo and friends as to where they spent your money before the sale!

If one where to use the criteria Patrick (Sharp Electric) uses in his report on Ideal Homes, Alvarez, Martin, Adamo, Rossey and Oben as being criminals then all Contractors, Sub-Contractors, suppliers and/or anyone involved in the construction industry in Southwest Florida that had to cut its losses and shut down are CRIMINALS AS WELL. Patrick should know better since he is in the business. The construction business is and always has been a volatile industry. It is not uncommon for contractors and construction companies to enter into contracts promising the world at a competitve price to find out later while in the project that they underbid the project and are working in a deficit. I am sure Patrick has had its problems as well. To have subs and or suppliers lien projects is not unusual. That is why there exists mechanics/construction lien laws in the State of Florida. To protect the subs, suppliers and laborers. What Patrick experienced in 2007 was par for the course for many subs during that time and area. Sharp Electric is hardly a victim of a "crime!" Instead, Patrick was a victim of bad economy and poor judgment. Or maybe "greed!" Sharp, like many other subs in the construction industry, know the risks when they enter into a construction sub-contract. This risk is factored into the bids or sub-contracts. Some jobs are solid and you get 100% of the bid; when sometimes, one is lucky to get 25 percent on the dollar of an incomplete project. By my calculations, Patrick was one of the lucky ones since they received approximately 32% (of $65,000.00) of the job from Rossey/Oben. That was better than what they got from Alvarez, Martin and Adamo - NOTHING! My point is Patrick, that before you begin to slander the business and individual reputation of anyone (such as memorialzing in this website and any other media that they are "CRIMINALS") you should first find out the definition of "crime" or "criminals." P.S. It has been two and half years since Mr. Patricks slanderous statements and no indictments have been issued on Rossey and the rest by ANY law enforecment agency. Next time Mr. Patrick, chose your words carefully.

The previous owners of Ideal Homes are owed 2 million dollars from the sale of thier company to DEAN ROSSEY and GARY OBEN. They claim that they have not been paid by the new owners as well. The sub contractors that have not been paid are questioning DEAN ROSSEY as to whether or not he used our money for himself to purchase $800,000.00 worth of land last month. Maybe Bill Bob and Brian should question him also! This guy is a CROOK!
