IDI GLOBAL, GRANT PARTNERS RIP OFF paid them over $3700 up front for nothing! OREM Utah
I am writing to report that GRANT PARTNERS is a ripoff!!! I registered with them hoping to get help with getting grants for new business funding. Of course, I was guaranteed $150,000.
I paid them over $3700 up front for my coaching sessions. I was also informed that on my credit card statement, the charge would be IDI GLOBAL. I should have known it was too good to be true!! I was told that I had 3 business days to cancel without penalty. I registered with them on a Thursday night and decided on the following Tuesday (the 3rd business day)to cancel. When I called and spoke with grant partners, the lady said "it was only human to be nervous" and "i think you'll feel better once you talk with your coach." I told her that I was a single mom and couldn't afford to be screwed out of this much money. She assured me that they were a very reputable company and they were not out to "screw" me out of my money. (Yeah right!!) She told me that unfortunatly the office that deals with cancellations was closed for the evening. She left me with the impression that she was going to contact that office for me.
I then called my credit card company and put the charge in "dispute". I thought that this might "cover me" and give me proof that I tried to cancel within the 3 business days. The following morning I finally got a call from my coach wanting to set up our first session. This was the first time I had heard from my coach. It was almost a full week before she called me. I was under the impression she would call be withing the 3 business days. I told her that I wanted to cancel and she then apologized for calling. No one had told her about my cancellation. I'm willing to be that the coach was notified and not the office that deals with the cancellations. I tried to call the customer service number I was provided by the person who took my credit card info. I got an operator/receptionist who wanted to know how to direct my call. I told her I wanted to talk with someone about cancelling my Grant Partners membership. She took my name and number and assured me someone would call me back. No one ever did. I've emailed IDI and got no response. I then just did a search on IDI and found all these ripoff reports. I wish I would have known about this site before hand!!
I also was supposed to recieve a package FedEx with all the information I would need and a receipt, since the money I used to pay for this was tax deductible. I was told I would recieve this package within 3 business days as well. I NEVER RECIEVED IT!! I still don't have the package. I sure hope I can get my money refunded. I hope this company pays for what they have done to several people.

I WAS CONTACTED AGAIN BY WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MY COACH. SHE SAID SHE WAS CHECKING TO SEE IF I HAD CANCELLED YET. I TOLD HER THAT I WAS TRYING TO BUT COULDN'T GET MY CALLS RETURNED. SHE GAVE ME ANOTHER NUMBER TO CALL. I CALLED THAT NUMBER TODAY AND I FINALLY TALKED WITH A PERSON IN THE FINANCE DEPT. TODAY!!! SHE SAID THAT THERE WAS A 15% PENALTY FOR EARLY CANCELLATION. I TOLD HER I TRIED TO CANCEL ON THE 3RD BUSINESS DAY. I EVEN TOLD HER I PUT THE CHARGE IN DISPUTE WITH MY CREDIT CARD CO. SHE TOLD ME SHE HAD A PROBLEM WITH ME PUTTING THE CHARGE IN DISPUTE. I SIMPLY TOLD HER GET ME MY MONEY BACK AND I'LL CALL THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND DROP THE DISPUTE. SHE IS SUPPOSED TO BE CHECKING INTO SEEING IF SHE CAN LOWER THE PENALTY. I DON'T KNOW IF I'LL END UP GETTING ALL OF MY MONEY BACK OR NOT. SHE ALSO SAID THAT IDI IS JUST WHO THEY DO THEIR BILLING THROUGH. THEIR COMPANY'S NAME IS COACHING ASSOCIATES. I REALLY DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT COMPANY I'M SUPPOSED TO BE DEALING WITH ANYMORE, IDI, GRANT PARTNERS, OR COACHING ASSOCIATES.
