IDT Energy Quadrupled electricity rate this month Newark New Jersey
I opened my bills to pay today, and discovered that IDT Energy increased my rate from about 6 cents per kwh to 23 cents per kilowatt hour, so last month electricity cost $60, this month $250, four times as much.
I immediately switched to another more legitimate supplier, but officially switch can only occur at the end of a billing cycle, meaning my bill next month will probably be just as bad.
I am looking forward to see the customers fleeing from this scam company. Hopefully the PA Attorney General will get enough complaints to sue them for fraud.
